Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Procura ("Procura", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile applications and services:
  • Procura Restaurant — for restaurants, hotels, cafes and cloud kitchens (Android package com.procuraindia.app).
  • Procura Driver — for delivery partners (Android package com.procuraindia.driver).
By using either app, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the platform and deliver our services.

Information you provide

  • Account & contact details — your mobile phone number (used for OTP sign-in), name, and for restaurants your business name, address and operating details.
  • Verification documents — where applicable, business or identity documents (e.g. FSSAI, GST, ID) and bank/payout details that you choose to submit for onboarding and verification.
  • Content you upload — photos (such as product images, delivery proof, and uploaded documents) and digital signatures captured on delivery.
  • Order & transaction data — items ordered, prices, delivery addresses, and order history.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & app data — device model, operating system version, app version, and a push-notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging).
  • Diagnostics — crash reports and basic usage/diagnostic data used to keep the apps stable and secure.
  • Location — see Section 2 below.

Payments

Payments, where applicable, are processed by our third-party payment gateway. Procura does not store your full card or banking credentials on its servers.

2. Location Information

Procura Driver app. To assign deliveries, navigate routes, and show restaurants and customers live delivery status, the Driver app collects precise location. With your permission, location may be collected in the background while you are on an active delivery / on-duty, so tracking continues even when the app is not open. You can turn location off in your device settings at any time; doing so will limit or prevent delivery functionality.

Procura Restaurant app. Location may be used to set or confirm your delivery address and to show nearby availability. It is used only while you are using the app.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Create and secure your account and authenticate you via OTP.
  • Process, route, fulfil and track orders and deliveries.
  • Enable communication between restaurants, suppliers, and delivery partners to complete an order.
  • Verify business/partner eligibility and process payouts where applicable.
  • Send service notifications (e.g. order updates) via push notifications.
  • Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the apps, and detect fraud or abuse.
  • Comply with applicable legal and tax obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed:

  • To fulfil orders — relevant details are shared between the parties to a transaction (for example, a delivery partner sees the pickup/drop address and contact needed for delivery; a restaurant sees its assigned driver's name and live status).
  • Service providers — trusted vendors that power the platform, including cloud hosting and database (Supabase), authentication, messaging and crash reporting (Google Firebase), and our payment gateway. They process data only on our instructions.
  • Legal — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Procura, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Device Permissions

You can manage or revoke these permissions in your device settings at any time.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the services, and thereafter only as required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. When no longer required, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and trusted cloud infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

8. Your Rights & Account / Data Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, email us at support@procuraindia.com from your registered email or phone, with the subject line "Account Deletion". We will verify your identity and process the request, subject to any data we are legally required to retain.

9. Children's Privacy

Our apps are intended for business use by adults (18 years and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through in-app notice. Continued use of the apps after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
